Paneer kofta

                      Paneer kofta

                                      Description

                                     Ingredients

  • Grated cottage cheese/paneer -200gm
  • Roasted cumin powder -1/2tbsp
  • Black salt -1/2tsp
  • Salt -to taste
  • Green chillies,finely chopped -2-3
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing and to put in grated paneer
  • Corn flour -2tbsp

       For gravy

  • Oil -1tbsp+deep fry
  • Onion,sliced -2-3
  • Everest tandoor chicken masala -50 gm
  • Kasoori methi -2tbsp
  • Fresh cream -1 cup
  • Tomato sauce -1/2 cup
  • Sugar -if needed  -1/2tsp
  • Green chillies -1-2

                     Method

        For kofta

                        In a bowl,put grated cottage cheese/paneer,roasted cumin powder,black salt,salt(if needed),coriander leaves,green chillies and cornflour.Mix them well.Make small balls and deep fry them until golden brown and put them on absorbent paper.

        For gravy

                       Heat 1tbsp of oil in kadhai.Add green chillies and saute it for half a min.Add sliced onion and cook until onion are browned up.Add tandoor chicken masala and salt and cook it until masala leaves the oil.then add fresh cream and cook it till it leaves the oil.Add kasoori methi and cook it for a minute.Then add
tomato sauce and sugar(if needed)and add 2 cup of water.put cornflour(mix it in half cup of water)into gravy to make it slightly thick and cook it until it boils.put paneer balls.Add coriander leaves and boil it for 2-3 minutes.     
              Serve it with chapati or paranthas.
