Paneer capsicum

                           Ingredients

  • Paneer ,cubed - 200gms
  • Capsicum ,cubed - 4
  • Onion,chopped - 2
  • Tomato,chopped - 2
  • Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Garam masala- 1tsp
  • Saunf (fennel seeds)powder- 1/2tsp
  • Kasoori methi- 1tbsp
  • Coriander leaves  for garnishing                         

                           Method

             Heat oil in a vessel.Add cubed paneer and saute it for 3-4 mins.Remove and put it on a drain paper.
                             In the same pan,put oil,if needed,cumin seeds and saute it for a minute.Add chopped onion and saute until onion turns brown.Add little salt to onion.Add chopped tomatoes,turmeric powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste and salt to taste.Saute for 5-6 mins.Then add capsicum pieces.Saute it for 2 mins.Add half cup of water and cook it for 4-5 mins.Add garam masala,fennnel seed powder and paneer.Cook for 3 mins more.Garnish it with coriander leaves.
                                               Serve it with chapati or paranthas or pulao.
